Maui dolphin vocalisation with Taonga puoro & loop pedal.
Putatara - conch horn, koauau toroa - albatross bone flute, putorino, nguru, ponga ihu, porotiti.

This track contains 55 calls on the putatara (conch horn) one for every surviving Maui Dolphin.

The static, or clicks that are heard at the beginning, and throughout this track are the calls of the Maui dolphin.
They are the smallest dolphin in the world, and these are the audible sounds that they make. High-speed, high-frequency click-trains.
